Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted December 26, 2016 Share #21 Â Posted December 26, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Neil ....... switch from auto WB to the 'K' setting on menu ........ and then just adjust up and down till you get an image in the viewfinder that has the WB you like ....... one of the great advantages of a mirror less camera and an excellent viewfinder. Â Used this for xmas decorations outside this week and it worked very well ...... you won't get it perfect but it will be as good as you will get without selective WB alteration in PP. Cheers mate I will give that a bash later today ............... happy Christmas

EoinC Posted December 26, 2016 Share #24 Â Posted December 26, 2016 No Neil, I have almost left LUF because of you :-( Â john I must admit that I find this rather bizarre, John. It's a little bit like being nearly pregnant. Â Isn't it simpler to ignore what you don't want to read, or is there no longer anything of value to you on LUF? Â For what it's worth, I enjoy and learn from your posts. It is a free World, though (at least in parts), so do what makes you happiest.
John McMaster Posted December 27, 2016 Share #25 Â Posted December 27, 2016 It is hard to ignore Neil with the amount he posts little of which I see any value in, I cannot be bothered as (IMO) I usually put more in than I got out of this forum.... jrp Posted December 28, 2016 Share #29 Â Posted December 28, 2016 Spean Bridge takes me back to when I was a lad, helping someone build holiday chalets by the Loch. Beautiful surroundings.

I approach the forum like having a conversation in the pub ...... people I 'know', people I don't, people I like, and people that are bloody annoying ...... I just ignore the latter ...... and it doesn't stop me going for a drink or chatting with the others ....  lighten up. J McM.  The 'offender' is a one-off and provides far more in amusement than what you consider irritation from daft questions. Luckily, like me, he doesn't give a sh*t what others think
MT0227 Posted January 5, 2017 Share #31 Â Posted January 5, 2017 I agree with JAAP, I carry a Colorchecker Passport in my bag for weird indoor lighting scenarios. Â I simply open up the grey card, set WB by shooting it and move on form there. Â This gets me close to where I can make minor changes without screwing up the frame.
