abrewer Posted August 15, 2008 Author Share #623 Posted August 15, 2008 Congrats, David, on your new acquisition You too, Nobby Beg to differ about the paint wear: it adds character to any MP Badge of honor, so to speak Thanks AB
antistatic Posted August 16, 2008 Share #624 Posted August 16, 2008 Congrats, David, on your new acquisition You too, Nobby Beg to differ about the paint wear: it adds character to any MP Badge of honor, so to speak Thanks AB Thanks AB I have now had the MP for four weeks and one day. I am part way through my 11th roll of film. My love for the MP continues to grow I have even started developing my own film at home. Very satisfying. Also happy that the thread has been revived. Naos Posted August 18, 2008 Share #627 Posted August 18, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I feel like such a nerd. I know about all the items you have pictured above. garyp Posted August 18, 2008 Share #629 Posted August 18, 2008 Love the Moleskine notebooks, been using the ''thick'' planner for a few years; always a handy item. Nice cameras you folks have too, btw.
antistatic Posted August 19, 2008 Share #630 Posted August 19, 2008 Yep, it is a Moleskine and the pen is a Lamy Scribble. The bag, half case and strap are all from Artist & Artisan. I have shamelessly pimped my MP I have to say I am happy with all the extras. I am using the Moleskine to record details for each roll, including developing. It ends up being like a diary as I am taking the MP to all important (and some not so important) events in my life. The A&A stuff also works well. I don't know how it compares to Luigi's stuff but I have no complaints. I went for A&A as I could try it at a local camera store before buying. Next on the pimping wish list is the 35 cron and the 50 lux
abrewer Posted August 19, 2008 Author Share #631 Posted August 19, 2008 Next on the pimping wish list is the 35 cron and the 50 lux Excellent choices, both Perhaps the most sublime lens combo (arguably to include the 28 Cron) ever mated to a camera body Thanks AB
peter_n Posted August 19, 2008 Share #632 Posted August 19, 2008 28 goes well with a 50, but I think the 35 works with a 75 better than a 50.
chris_livsey Posted August 19, 2008 Share #633 Posted August 19, 2008 Yep, it is a Moleskine and the pen is a Lamy Scribble. The bag, half case and strap are all from Artist & Artisan. I have shamelessly pimped my MP : Thanks for that. Lamy have so many models Just a note for UK readers: The Moleskine are finding a wider distribution now but I have used these people for a while now, and for Lamy etc. No connection other than as a customer happy to recommend good service. LADP Posted August 22, 2008 Share #638 Posted August 22, 2008 Looks like an "Artisan & Artist" to me. Maybe an "Evans Walker" model? Artisan&Artist* Bags
antistatic Posted August 23, 2008 Share #639 Posted August 23, 2008 Looks like an "Artisan & Artist" to me. Maybe an "Evans Walker" model? Artisan&Artist* Bags Correct. Very happy with it. Good for one body, three lenses, film, accessories, notebook and pen. Small enough. Stealth looks. Well made. Nice grippy strap which will not slide off your shoulder. Probably not the most waterproof bag but offers plenty of protection. My favorite man-bag
Fernmelder Posted August 24, 2008 Share #640 Posted August 24, 2008 Thanks for the info about the bag. Looks like something new worth saving for. (Next thing will be a CV Nokton 1.4/35 lens)
