Interesting to note how ventilation and protection against gnawers are carefully treated. The old door illustrated on the second photo is of a quite common type in Portuguese villages' "noble" houses or public buildings. Like are very thick walls of old stone houses (photo 3). And finally, the typical wooden ceiling of a church, here in Satao, Northern Portugal. Welcome, dear visitor!
