This is delightful but I'm certain it would be more effective with him off center with more space in front of him.  It's pretty common for us to put subjects too centered as we use the center of the viewfinder for focusing.

Maybe you are right, but I very like Wes Anderson's and Stanley Kubrick's movies. Moreover there were too many distracting things outside the frame. :)
