Malabito Posted December 4, 2016 Share #21 Posted December 4, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Depends on the kind of places you are planning to shoot. The bags before are quite nice, but in some places you might look to much of a 'Hispter' or to 'Snobbish', which carrying an already quite expensive camera might not be a good idea. If you are looking for a fashion statement or don't mind grabbing the attention the bags stated before are beautiful most of them. If you want something a little less flashy and still functional, look at the think tank retrospective series. I just bought the number 5 version in black and can easily fit the Q plus and M with a 75mm apsh, and additional accesorioes. It might be a bit to small if you are looking into carrying many things, but for that I use a backpack. If you want to put more things maybe try number 6 which is a bit bigger and still portable. For a Q, a x100 and Ricoh gr the 5 will be enough. This bags are durable, functional, look good without been flashy. I bought the black one

I bought the black one Agreed - I do love those leather bags but if I take a couple of cameras, I use a Retrospective 7 bag that is fairly discrete. I also have a small canvas bag: I put a small Crumpler stuff bag inside to protect the camera from the elements as necessary. I've used it with my Fuji X100 and my X-E2 with a couple of lenses with no issues. I've traveled around cities like Paris, London and New York with it, and nobody gives it a second glance, which is nice too! (I'll also use it for my Leica Q that just arrived via UPS an hour ago!) @McLeica Posted December 7, 2016 Share #23 Posted December 7, 2016 I have the nylon version of this one for my Q. It's brilliant. The adjustable slider strap was a big selling point for me. Big enough for the Q and accessories, flash etc...... Artisan & Artist RR4-05C Welcome, dear visitor! Mr.Q Posted December 7, 2016 Share #24 Posted December 7, 2016 I agree that a lot of the all-leather bags look a bit too hipster. I have a leather Brixton (dark brown) and Bowery (antique cognac) and while I love how they look, I usually prefer to go out with a bag that's more subtle. Leather bags are quite heavy too, so I wanted a small bag that was made mostly from canvas or nylon. I decided to get the Artisan and Artist CLCAM-1100. It looks small from the outside but it's got enough room for both my Q and M9-P w/ 50 LUX, a second lens (or small flash) along with a iPad, wallet, and small accessories. Just perfect. http://www.artisan-n-artist.com/product_detail.php?id=

likealot Posted December 21, 2016 Share #26 Posted December 21, 2016 I have been thinking for a while about getting a nice bag for my Q when I take it on trips. However here in UK there seems to be a dislike for "manbags" so one has to be careful what they choose unless they wish to feel the sniggering behind their bag when they walk down the road. I have never been able to work out why this is because it is not a feeling that is reciprocated in other European countries I have lived in. I have reached the conclusion that due to the lack of sunshine in this country people do not often dress light and as such they do not appreciate the usefulness of a manbag. Sorry... I'm loving that little keychain camera hanging down on the side of the darker bag. May I ask who makes it?
