wooferdog Posted November 14, 2016 Share #1 Posted November 14, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) The title says it all really. I'm about to get the 1.4 35 ZM , and was wondering whether to simply not select a lens , or select the Leica 1.4 asp. Advice would be appreciated
Advertisement Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Hi wooferdog, Take a look here How do you code your 35 Zeiss ZM on the SL. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
250swb Posted November 14, 2016 Share #2 Posted November 14, 2016 It's a digital camera, it costs nothing to try all the codes and see which works best, report back when done.
thighslapper Posted November 14, 2016 Share #3 Posted November 14, 2016 I have mine permanently coded as summilux M 35/1.4 asph and images are corrected to the point where I can see no issues. Unfortunately self coding requires 4 black pits which means more work than some other lenses ...... Welcome, dear visitor! geetee1972 Posted November 14, 2016 Share #4 Posted November 14, 2016 Out of interest but on a related subject, if you are using a Novoflex M to T adapter for your SL and you then tell the camera what lens you are using, should that information then be communicated via the EXIF data? My SL is used with a 50 Lux and the camera has this lens inputed but this information is not showing in the EXIF data.
