TheGodParticle/Hari Posted November 4, 2016 Share #1  Posted November 4, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) With the re-release of the 28/5.6, Leica have somehow piqued my interest in the slowmicron lenses  Seems fit to call them f4 lenses slowmicrons if the f2 lenses are called summicrons  Show your film and digital pictures please  I can think of the following primes 21/4, 90/4 (old ones as well as the new macro) and the 135/4  Are there others?  I have the collapsible 90/4 and love it for what it delivers  Would be nice if you could label the camera and lens with the uploaded image for the benefit of the interested  Danke, Hari

a.noctilux Posted November 5, 2016 Share #2 Â Posted November 5, 2016 Nice idea. Â Those f:4 lenses called Elmar by Leitz/Leica are on the market from almost the beginning of 24x36 (even if the first Elmar was f:3.5 after Anastigmat then Elmax ). As outsourced lens the Super-Angulon 4/21mm has already a lovely name, why change it ? Â I do love some of them because they are light and small with top grade result : S-A 4/21, Tri-Elmar-M 28-35-50, Macro-Elmar-M 4/90, Tele-Elmar 4/135 ...
