Do they deliver same color and clarity there? 35-90 should do well, and manusl focus is miles ahead on thr fuji

Mr.Q Posted November 4, 2016 Share #2 Â Posted November 4, 2016 Nothing manual focuses better than a rangefinder.
orc999 Posted November 5, 2016 Author Share #3 Â Posted November 5, 2016 you should not have skiped you math classes: pythagoras. on digital at f1.4 and portrait distance the delta can not longer be hidden like back in the film days.

orc999 Posted November 5, 2016 Author Share #5 Â Posted November 5, 2016 sorry did not mean to be offensive. rangerfinder is a great thing for situation where recomposing is tolerable. it's just not suited for some works. as usually there is not something that is the best for everything under all circumstances
eujin Posted November 7, 2016 Share #6  Posted November 7, 2016 The lenses work fine on X bodies, but they don't look as good they do on Leica cameras — this was true for me on the XT-1, XE-2, and X-Pro1. I'm assuming the same is true of the XT-2 but I don't own that camera and have never used it. I also found that native Fuji lenses produced better images on the X bodies than adapted M lenses, so I just stick to Fuji on Fuji and Leica on Leica.
ianman Posted November 7, 2016 Share #7  Posted November 7, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica lenses work really well on the X-Pro2. Focusing is easy, much better than MF with Fuji lenses (yuk).  Here are a couple on the X-Pro2 with the 90mm APO Summicron  Welcome, dear visitor! Robert M Poole Posted November 7, 2016 Share #8  Posted November 7, 2016 I've seen a load of shots on Flickr where I've gone, "definitely a Leica" only to find it was an XT2 and Fuji 56mm. I don't use my Fujis (old stuff X100 and XE1) anymore just due to the fact that the AF is terrible and after using an m9 I find manual focus clumsy. That being said, I have had some amazing results using adapted lenses on my XE1 my Helios 44-2 being my favourite.  Not sure if they are 'Leica look' but I like-a the look of them (sorry)  https://flic.kr/p/vb56PU  https://flic.kr/p/w7Kso5
eujin Posted November 8, 2016 Share #9  Posted November 8, 2016 The Fuji 56mm and 23mm 1.4 are lovely. I wish they weren't so big but there you go. I'm also very fond of the cheap 18-55mm 2.8-4 zoom — that has to be the best value lens ever.
