Tmuussoni Posted October 26, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 26, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Greetings all First of all I did try a search but did I don't think I can find an answer for my question. And I am not really an expert when it comes to all possible sync cords out there. For a long time I have been thinking about getting the Multi-Function Handgrip #14495 to be able to use EVF and shoot off camera speedlites in same time. I have M type 240, EVF and for remote triggering I use combination of Yongnuo YN560-TX and Yongnuo YN560-IV Speedlites. The combination works great. Well, except for the fact I can't use EVF in same time with this combo. Which I want to fix. So my question is this:If I get the Multi-Function Handgrip #14495 is it possible to connect the Yongnuo YN560-TX trigger and Multi-Function Handgrip? I am aware Leica also sells SCA Adapter Set 14498. But I am actually trying to avoid buying that as it adds extra >300 € for the price. I very much would like to save this money. So is there any way to trigger the YN560-TX? YN560-TX is equipped with a single 2.5mm Shutter Interface. Is there a sync cord with 2.5mm --> grip’s SCA port?Thank you very much for answering. And I apologize if I explained myself poorly.Edit: I found this:https://www.amazon.com/DSLRKIT-2-5mm-miniphone-Flash-Sync/dp/B00QLWM34W/ref=sr_1_8?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1477495242&sr=1-8&keywords=PC+Sync+to+2.5mm I wonder would it work this this to trigger the YN560-TX (and speedlites)? FlashGordonPhotography Posted October 26, 2016 Share #2 Posted October 26, 2016 The MF grip has two flash ports. The SCA port with TTL etc. It also has a standard PC type sync port which uses normal studio type flash sync cables. So a PC to 2.5mm cable should do the trick.
