jay968 Posted October 16, 2016 Share #1 Â Posted October 16, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have the current 35mm F1.4 ASPH. When I hold the lens in my hand and tilt it up and down, I hear what almost sounds like an element inside moving slightly. It is a sort of a click that sounds like it is glass very slightly moving against metal. I want to say this happens if I shake the lens, but I have never done that....just a very slight movement tilting the lens back and forth will produce it. I do not hear this in any of my other lenses and am wondering whether this just may be something that is actually normal due to the floating element inside this lens. Can someone who owns this lens try this? Just sort of rock the lens forward and back, tilting it a little bit as you do and let me know if you hear anything such as that which I have described. I am not positive that it is a loose element but it sounds like it might be. Â Thanks so much.
