andybarton Posted August 4, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 4, 2006 I like this one too, but I would have cloned out the TV aerial, if this were mine. The cable has to stay, though.
marc_dufour Posted August 4, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted August 4, 2006 Andy, I've been doubting, before to post it: I remove the cable, the aerial, don't touch nothing ? This afternoon I shall remove the TV aerial. Thanks for looking and advice. Marc PS: Other opinions welcome :-)
marc_dufour Posted August 4, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted August 4, 2006 The same, without TV aerial...
beramos Posted August 4, 2006 Share #7 Posted August 4, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Marc, Superb! I like the original, because I love Spain and this shot is Spain. - BR
marc_dufour Posted August 4, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted August 4, 2006 Thanks a lot, Bernardo. As you know, I love Spain a lot... as she is. But how beautiful would be, without so many TV aerialsand electric cables... Over all, Andalucia :-) Un abrazo. Marc
hm1912 Posted August 4, 2006 Share #9 Posted August 4, 2006 Another great photograph Marc. Everything just fits so nicely together, the white clouds, the off-white chimney, the wonderful blue sky.
marc_dufour Posted August 4, 2006 Author Share #10 Posted August 4, 2006 Thanks a lot, Ilan. I'm very glad you appreciate it. Marc
imported_peter_m Posted August 4, 2006 Share #11 Posted August 4, 2006 Very nice photograph Marc, well seen and captured. I do like the version without the antenna better, the piece of antenna sticking out in the original takes away from the image. Peter
Guest imported_stefan_r Posted August 4, 2006 Share #12 Posted August 4, 2006 this shot is spain? why? this can be south italy, turkey, morocco... if we would see part of the village, then maybe... and the telefon cable + antenna shows us only that there are people living! that the picture was not taken in a museum! marc_dufour Posted August 4, 2006 Author Share #13 Posted August 4, 2006 Peter, I agree with you, and with the previous comment from Andy. Really I think the aerial disturbs, as ususally in the spanish landscape :-) Stefan, You're right, it could be from many places around mediterranean sea. But yes, it's representative of southern Spain. And I think you know it, too. Thanks for looking and comments. Marc
wda Posted August 7, 2006 Share #14 Posted August 7, 2006 Marc, you whet my appetite: I should be there in early September exploring new territory for me. David
marc_dufour Posted August 7, 2006 Author Share #15 Posted August 7, 2006 David, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Spain has much more to offer than sun and beaches. Tomorrow I begin a travel, too, to India. Thanks for looking and comment. Marc
