My new Leica MP

Just got this new last week!

Started out with Leica Q as a compromise to M.

Sold Q, then got M6 with few ZM Lenses with money left over.

Loved the film Leica so much that

I decided to upgrade to a new MP a la carte with Summicron 35mm v4 as an one body one lens set-up!

So slim, simple, and timeless,

I no longer miss Q nor crave for the latest and newest digital M.

I hope this one will stay with me for a long time to come...

I don't mind the new winding knob.

Compared to buddy's typ240

Oh. I'm currently debating with myself. I have an M with the red flat artisan artist strap where you can adjust the length really easy. Debating on whether I should get another one or a red silk strap for my mp:( can't decide. The silk one costs like 170€ here -.-

I have used an A&A silk for about 10 years on my MP but as much as I like the quality and feel of it, it is just not long enough for my preferred way of cross- shoulder carrying.

I recently changed it for a Deadcameras leather strap. Review here:

It can and will stay with you a long time - provided you can continue to remember your good fortune in owning this beautiful, magnificent little machine and resist the Siren song of "Latest, greatest - new and improved!!"  :)

Which silk strap did you use? It comes in two different lengths. 100 or 120mm.
