When I set the camera to connect via webserver, then a browser connected to the camera's IP address, all I see are low rez thumbnails. I was not expecting to get the DNG's but I did expect to get the JPEG's. Even if I double click on a thumbnail, I only get the enlarged thumbnail. I have ended up buying a 3 metre HDMI Mini C to USB3-A lead and using tethered, with the Image Shuttle App. Wireless to my Mac would be a lot easier, not having trailing wires to trip over, with potentially disastrous results. I suppose the ultimate answer would be for Image Shuttle to connect wirelessly direct to the camera. I have used the SL app wirelessly to my iPad Pro, then to the cloud, then back from the cloud direct into Capture One but image transfer is glacially slow. I only have an upstream speed on my Broadband in France of 0.8 Mb/sec - that's bits not bytes. This was the year that we were supposed to get optical fibre to the house in my village in France but I am told it has been indefinitely postponed. Even in the UK, where I have VDSL/2 connection with an acceptable 40 Mb/sec downstream, upstream is still only about 1.5 Mb/sec. Wilson Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you have the camera set to raw only capture, it only sends the thumbnails I believe. I click on that and the full res photo fills a new Safari window. I can drag and drop that to the desktop. Seems to work just fine for me. ?? My excuse: Getting up at 6AM this morning and packing all day and shutting up the house, to go back to the UK tomorrow after five months. Hard work for a 70 year old! I will try again with normal Safari next week. Currently I am using the experimental Technology Demonstrator version with OSX 10.12.1 Beta and nothing like that appeared for me. steppenw0lf Posted September 30, 2016 Share #8 Posted September 30, 2016 I use it with an iPad Pro when taking macro photos. It's like a removable EVF. No need to bow down to the camera. I could even add an 4k TV via appleTV to get an even wider image. But I did not , yet. Tethering is probably even better, but it needs a Mac/PC plus cable.
