Shooting DNG and B&W Jpegs on the SL?

When I shoot my M240, I prefer to shoot in DNG + B&W JPEG. Advantage to focus in B&W and also when I import into LR I see both the color and the B&W image. I have not found a way to accomplish this with the SL. Any suggestions? Thanks and cheers--linford

Can't you set to B&W and shoot DNG+ JPEG? I've not tried this but thought the option exists.

Hi, I believe that you have to choose "saturation" and then "monochrome" from there .

Thanks guys. I have tried that also. It seemed common sensical. That is how it works on the M240. However, (with the SL) when I pulled the file into LR I see only the B&W. Perhaps that is because I am using the LR app on my iPad. I decided to travel a little lighter this week. I wouldn't think that would matter, but I will try it again when I get back home and to the full version of LR. Cheers--lt

Aha, I misread your question then.

 

Hmm, I don't have LR mobile but afaik It should work with both dng and jpeg (in subscription mode).

This is how I shoot and yes its saturation and then shoot DNG + JPG
