MikelM10 Posted September 9, 2016 Share #1  Posted September 9, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello All,  I haven't been brave enough to attempt updating my SL firmware but I've just realised that there is another release - 2.1. My camera is still on V1.2. Can I safely upgrade from this version using the V2.1 download? The instructions say the V2.1 is applicable if you have V2 installed.  I couldn't find a V2 download so it looks as it V2.1 is now the only version available. I'm just concerned that the V2.1 software will upgrade V1.2 without a hitch. Can anyone please advise?  Best Regards Mike

FlashGordonPhotography Posted September 9, 2016 Share #2 Â Posted September 9, 2016 Yes. You can just load 2.1 directly. You don't need 2.0 first. Â Also 1.2 to 2.1 is a massive upgrade. You'll be very pleased you did it. Â Gordon

stuartt Posted December 23, 2016 Share #4 Â Posted December 23, 2016 I have a similar question and would appreciate a little guidance please. Â I bought an SL yesterday which I discovered was firmware version 2.0. Â I've just downloaded firmware version 2.2 (successfully to my surprise!) and now realised that I've missed firmware version 2.1. Â Following Gordon's advice I shouldn't need to go back and download firmware 2.1 because 2.2 somehow includes or incorporates it. Â Is this correct? Â Thanks in anticipation.
