Shot this morning with my Q in the front of the Guggenheim. The dress was made by an artist that the museum is featuring. The crew was making a video during the morning -- had to go to work so I couldn't hang around to see more. I was also admonished by the producer about taking shots. She said it made the model unnerved. Odd to me, given that having her photo taken is her chosen profession for the moment. If I were with the Dept of Labor I would've made sure she was over the required age of 16 (if she is, she is barely).....enough editorial, here's the shot ...

Delightful, and of course they are shooting on the street so they have no expectation of privacy.

i actually wonder about that. I know this is true just taking pictures in the street .... but I am in effect "stealing" an image they are going to sell (not with the Q but a camera with long lens to isolate the young woman). The production assistant was very nice and disarming to get me to stop shooting. Once, in Bowling Green they were shooting one of these silly cable TV shows and when I wanted to take a picture this guard told me to stop and threatened bodily harm if i didn't. It seemed the law, if not his methods, were on his side. Anyway, just wondering, that's all. And I have enough doubt that when they ask me to stop, I do.
