SirPiet Posted August 31, 2016 Share #3 Â Posted August 31, 2016 Since it is only a minor increase in version number, it suggests there is not much more than support for the 60mm macro and some AF improvements to expect.

Guest VVJ Posted September 7, 2016 Share #5 Â Posted September 7, 2016 And it has also been confirmed that the only addition is the compatibility with the new 60mm macro lens. Â Unless you are planning on buying that lens the upgrade might not be worth while the upgrade hassle. Â I did install though even though I am not sure yet about the lens... weinbergfoto Posted September 7, 2016 Share #9  Posted September 7, 2016 I'm new here after being a lurker since getting my T three months ago. I love my T, even its quirks! However, its quirkiness might just have increased.......  I also just posted this on the Leica forum on dpreview:  Hello, folks. Last night, I installed the firmware update on my T, which was running 1.51. After installation, I went into the den, which was lit by only one lamp and a large flat screen TV, and proceeded to take a bunch of test shots. I had taken such test shots numerous times under identical circumstances using the identical lens. Perhaps it's just my camera, but I found that it had much more difficulty attaining focus. I was shocked. For those who have upgraded to the new firmware, are you having a similar experience? Thanks in advance, Marc
robert blu Posted September 7, 2016 Share #10  Posted September 7, 2016 Curious to know if with the new firmware is possible to disable the exposure compensation (in order to use studio flash with a small aperture and have not the VF darkened)? Thanks for any  answer, robert

For me it seems focus is better/faster in low light, and general focus speed has improved.  Maybe it only is my feeling, but at all, is has not been worse. A shame, you have to set up the camera again, also user profiles.
