Stuart,

Beautiful photos of a gorgeous car, but I respectfully submit that you're thinking of the '66 Ferrari  275 GTB / C, with the C standing for Competition, of which  only 12 indeed were built by Scaglietti in '66, in addition to the original four Enzo authorized the year before - they were all alloy-bodied lightweight coupes with 250 LM motors intended for racing. They were very similar to the production steel version in outward appearance, but the difference is several million dollars nowadays if there's a "C" in the model designation ..............if the car's the real thing.

Many hundreds more than 12 'normal' steel-bodied 275 were produced.
