Any suggestions on buying an X2 in USA

I'm looking to buy an X2. I'm currently in Thailand and they are too expensive here. I'll be visiting Australia around end of this year or early next year and will most likely get my Leica then. However, I have a very good friend who lives in Florida visiting Thailand next month. So it has occurred to me I could have my friend bring me an X2 from the USA.

So can anyone give me some suggestions on buying an X2 in the USA. Could my friend get a duty free price as the camera would be going straight out of the country?

Any tips, links, suggestions would be most appreciated.

Bob,

I am thinking of selling my X-E, which is the latest iteration of the X2. I'm in Miami, so if you are interested send me a private message.

If he is a US citizen living in the US, he wouldn't be able to get a duty free price from his own state, however I believe anything bought out of state (ie via mail order) is not subject to sales taxes anyway. Officially he would probably have to declare it on entering Thailand though as he would veer leaving it here. However no one is likely to check.
