David Dennis Posted August 5, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 5, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) The cellphone download works just great, but I would like to be able to download to my computer instead of the phone. I'm doing video with the camera on a tripod and it's a major hassle to take the card out all the time. But of course I edit and review videos on my computer. Thoughts? (I know this question was asked and answered a couple of years ago and I'm curious to know if the situation has changed at all.)
Advertisement Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Hi David Dennis, Take a look here Is it possible to use WiFi to download to a Macintosh?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rent Posted August 5, 2016 Share #2 Posted August 5, 2016 I don't think that's possible as there's no desktop app. You can, however, connect your Q to your Mac via USB for file transfer. -alex

rent Posted August 6, 2016 Share #5 Posted August 6, 2016 The content of the SD card would appear as an external drive; you can copy or import files as usual. By the way the Q must be powered on for this. -alex Great! Does the Q file system appear on the Finder? Direct import into LR?
