I'd love an X with interchangeable lenses as a companion to the M series. T lenses would fit. I just prefer the intuitive straightforward M-style controls as opposed to a touchscreen. Or is that just me?

Thanks for posting that. I feel exactly the same way.

Thought it could be a southern hemisphere thing David, Trivette possibly being the exception.

Having had both the T, and the X-Vario, I too preferred the layout, and the ability to set virtually everything before powering the camera up.

The T was nice, but the touchscreen occasionally either "stalled" or didn't work first or second time. Swiping or touching never really was how I wanted the camera to work, as opposed to the old fashioned way with the buttons etc of the X-Vario.

I still have the X-Vario, and find the lens is more than adequate. Those that pass judgement on the lens usually haven't used it, as most that have one are usually quite complimentary.

It's a slightly dated camera now, but for travel, it's hard to beat.
