Pecole Posted July 14, 2016 Share #1  Posted July 14, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) On Tuesday morning, when going out for my daily walk, I noticed a large "button" at the top of a long potted cactus, near the entrance gate. My wife warned me : this kind of flowering takes two to three days, and the blossomed flower's life is hardly a day long. Further, the flowering happens only once, exceptionally twice in such a cactus' lifetime. So, I took my Leica every morning to register the "progresses". Here are the images : fist taken on Tuesday morning, July 12th, second on Wednesday morning and the following ones this morning. The very last one was taken when a bee, attracted by the delicious and delicate perfume, came for completing her breakfast.  Welcome, dear visitor!
