colonel Posted July 8, 2016 Share #1 Â Posted July 8, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just curious Seems like end distortion is not much worse then 28mm and one gets an extra kick of the scene/surround. On the other hand you need to be even closer ! Â For anyone who regularly shots at this FL what say you ? (a link to any samples photos would be nice)
Advertisement Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Hi colonel, Take a look here Anyone do street shooting with 24mm ? (or 25mm) ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
NB23 Posted July 8, 2016 Share #2 Â Posted July 8, 2016 It requires its own mindset to use to full capacity. This means a tailored approach. I like it. Â There are a few samples of my street shots with a summilux 24 in the street photography forum.

keithlaban.co.uk Posted July 8, 2016 Share #4  Posted July 8, 2016 I regularly shoot street with a 21mm SEM so personally I wouldn't worry about having to get closer than when using the 28mm.  I used the SEM for most shots on the following gallery.  http://www.keithlaban.co.uk/essaouiralifeinthemedina.html
sml_photo Posted July 8, 2016 Share #5  Posted July 8, 2016 I frequently use a 24mm on my Canon and Leica for street shooting. I like the perspective and the (usually) necessary close approach. The broad view can help tell a story...puts things in a perspective, so to speak.
