SonomaBear Posted June 14, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 14, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I can not find how to toggle the "with info" or "without info" in "Review Mode" (which I assume is when I press "Play") Searched the manual and this great forum -- frustrated, it no longer displays! ralpheburns Posted June 14, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 14, 2016 Howdy Bear - Use the center "set" button to toggle the with & without info during play mode, and if that's in the manual, then I missed it too! I never found a description of toggling the Set button during picture mode, but it seems to explain itself with experimentation: photo info > info off > video mode. Anyone with more nuanced insight is welcome to comment! For the horizon go to Menu > Photo Live View Setup > "Level Gauge", manual page 162 in the English language manual. Double check that your settings stuck after menu exit. How about a way to preview depth of field, other than looking at the lens scale? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I agree because I have been spoiled for 30 years of a dedicated DoF Preview button handy! I usually shoot with the EVF (old habits...) but have found that manual aperture settings show when half pressing the release button.
