MEB Posted June 11, 2016 Share #1  Posted June 11, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was walking through the botanical gardens of Michigan State University when another photographer called me over and pointed to this pink flower. This little guy was about 2cm total length. He cooperated long enough for me to get 3 frames. (cross posted in Leica SL).  Thanks for looking, Mark Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted June 12, 2016 Share #2  Posted June 12, 2016 Very nice. Perhaps stronger with just a tiny increase is shadow slider.
MEB Posted June 12, 2016 Author Share #3  Posted June 12, 2016 Stu, Thank you. After your suggestion I looked again and I agree that it needs more contrast. I played with it and found that the real culprit was that the highlights were too high. I cut back (and selectively added more saturation to the frog) and it is a much stronger presentation. I didn't want to re-show it here but I did put the improved version on my Flickr site.  Thanks, Mark
