As a member, indeed the leading member of the EU, it's considered politically incorrect in Germany to reenact the European wars in which they were involved or instigated. Since the Hessians helped out in the American Revolution perhaps they can cross the Rhine and believe they are tee acting Washington cross the Delaware. :-). Thanks again for the input. In Germany there are people who are interested in the life in wild west and the civil war. Every year, near my hometown, there is a event where these people meet and simulate the life of the natives, cowboys and soldiers.
