mija1789 Posted May 7, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted May 7, 2016 On Aug. 8, 1956 a cart similar to this one got only partially engaged into the cage at the lowest mine level and on its way up broke an oil pipe, a high voltage cable, the telephone cable and a compressed air tube. This immediately started a fire cutting off the cage access and the communication link ... coal miners were trapped. Welcome, dear visitor!
