odin Posted April 19, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 19, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I get my X a few weeks ago. I used it on a tree week trip to Japan, it is couple of issues with the camera that annoys me. 1. it is too easy to to start a video when changing the aperture. I wish it was possible to select a "slow" start of video, Pressing start for two seconds or so. 2. Not possible to switch off the screen, when using a optical finder. (it is possible on my GR) 3. When using the OVF, I like the possibility to hear the focus confirmation, but have a silent shutter. Now you can only select all sound on or off. Welcome, dear visitor! leicadude Posted April 20, 2016 Share #2 Posted April 20, 2016 Would the EVF solved problem 2 and 3? I am in the process of buying a X 113 but do not own one yet.
odin Posted April 20, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted April 20, 2016 I have the EVF, but the OVF are smaller and lighter.

odin Posted April 23, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted April 23, 2016 I like the camera very much, it is for me the right size and weight to use as a travel camera.
rivi1969 Posted May 1, 2016 Share #6 Posted May 1, 2016 I have never switch on video changing the aperture ring, so I cannot comment on that. If you click the "display" button 2 or 3 times it goes dark so yes, you can turn it off -mine always is- and there is no sound for focus confirmation but there is a green light that turns on once you get focus and it is very easy to see while using the VF. Cheers
