ShivaYash Posted April 13, 2016 Share #1  Posted April 13, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello  Anyone using this flash with the M6?  Just want a little flash, and this runs on AA batteries.  Thanks, SY
Advertisement Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Hi ShivaYash, Take a look here Leica CF flash... With M6 'classic'. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
hilm3 Posted April 13, 2016 Share #2 Â Posted April 13, 2016 I have a couple. They work fine. It is nice that they stand a couple of inches tall, and the use of AA batteries is a plus. That said, I almost never use a flash and when I do, I prefer a little Rollei 121 BC unit. Small, black, has a red dot, cheap. Balances better on an M. ShivaYash Posted April 18, 2016 Author Share #4  Posted April 18, 2016 Just picked up this flash unit for £28 from eBay. So with a classic M6, should I wish to use it, I can simply put the flash on auto, with a 35mm lens and take photos?   Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
madNbad Posted April 18, 2016 Share #5 Â Posted April 18, 2016 There is an Auto 1 and 2 for different film speed, f-stop and distance. Â Get an idea of distance, set the f-stop indicated for the film you have loaded and it should be fine. Â There may be a conformation light on the flash to indicate enough light has reached the subject. Â Just like any other new piece of equipment, testing is advised.
