Some Hassy lenses are unfairly affordable these days. Very nice, thanks for sharing these links. As a long time M9 user, "CCD snob", I'm really loving my SL. 349A Posted April 3, 2016 Share #6 Posted April 3, 2016 I'll report back on the Hassy lenses once I get a chance to get them outside. I've only done some very basic test shots around the house so far with a cheap adapter on top of my R to M and M to L. The shots around the house had some very nice colors, very smooth and creamy, maybe lacking some bite. Seems excellent for portraiture. Again, no real conclusions yet, I've been juggling lots of recent acquisitions lately and haven't put any real time in yet. I have the 50, 80 and 150. Not very fast lenses, the 80 being my fastest at 2.8 Its nice to play with them outside of my V bodies. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The smooth look of the classic Hasselblad Zeiss lenses is a nice alternative to the super sharp / detailed modern Leica lenses. I just posted an image with the Hassy in the third party lens thread. 349A Posted April 4, 2016 Share #10 Posted April 4, 2016 The focus throw is very long so its not a quick lens to focus. You turn, turn and turn some more. The weight is quite okay, they feel lighter than the 24-90. The smooth look is very nice. Resolution is surprisingly good as well. Really excellent. Convert to sRGB, 8 bits, and disable colour profile embedding. Pull back on sharpening a bit or apply 1% of gaussian blur. Many browsers cannot handle anything more complicated.
