ho_co Posted June 3, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 3, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) The new forum software works quite well, but I have this question: The first line In all forum quotations ends with a 'missing image' icon under Safari on my Power PC Mac with OS X. (See image below.) The icon is new with the new software. Is this Mac-specific? Am I missing something important? What is supposed to be there? Thanks! --HC Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Hi ho_co, Take a look here missing icon?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LUF Admin Posted June 4, 2007 Share #2 Posted June 4, 2007 Sorry for that - my fault. If you switch to the german version you see a small icon with an arrow. It's linked to the posting that's quoted. I'll copy the icon to the English buttons this evening. ho_co Posted June 4, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted June 4, 2007 Many thanks, Andreas! Excellent idea to link back to the original post and keep us from having to do it. I hadn't noticed that it was a link. But I'm still getting the same question mark icon. May be just my browser; don't worry with it. Thanks for the effort. --HC
ho_co Posted June 14, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted June 14, 2007 Bravo, Andreas! The right-pointing arrow now appears in the quotation to direct to the original post! Good show! --HC
rob_x2004 Posted June 14, 2007 Share #6 Posted June 14, 2007 Howard a screen print crop of the offending part of the page would help. I know it is all fixed but if it wasnt, I still wouldnt quite understand what you were talking about. Regards.

Rob-- See image of the unrepaired item in my opening post; compare that with Andreas' response in the thread's second post. My post is an image of a quote from another thread. Now that the link icon is repaired, all quotes show up as in Andreas' quote of my first post, or mine of yours here. If you're not seeing a right-pointing arrow on a light blue background in forum quotes, let me know and I'll post an image of the repaired version. --HC
