They are having some issues with overly wet weather and flooding in New South Wales. The journey has to stop and start at Lithgow near the Blue Mountains or passengers get flown to Adelaide where they meet the train there. The Great Southern Railway Company was sold to an American consortium last year but it seems their experience has been mainly ferries or shipping. Here the train crosses over Helena Street near where I live and the cloudy and cold day set the scene for a monochrome shot. Welcome, dear visitor! Thanks for your comment. No SFX used. I converted the .dng to monochrome in ACR, pulled the highlights and mid tones in little and then opened the file in Ps where I flattened and converted it to sRGB. I then adjusted the default curve a little to deepen the darker mid tones and then adjusted the red and green curve to add the warm tone.
