Not sure about this one: I realized it would be a "busy" composition when I pressed the shutter, but I was attracted by the "framing" provided by the diagonal lines at the top of the frame, which perhaps feel less prominent in the image below.

I do enjoy night photography , but have enjoyed your wonderful photographic concentration on plant life.

Meanwhile, I will suggest my kids that they refer to me as the Lord of Darkness from now on - it has a nice ring to it!

Ozzy Osbourne!
So there are role models ....
Other suggestion: Prince of Darkness (Miles Davis).

I’ve been trying to shoot images with less in the frame, and that’s why I’ve been using a 50mm lens, rather a wideangle lens; but I keep on seeing more complexity, which has to be organized, or simplified, by the tonality — the relation of light and dark tones.
