Interesting how you keep puzzling with thicket, wooded area’s and bush. I respect your perseverance in trying to get a satisfying tonal scale out of it. Last year I was busy with trees, not so much the branches in the tops, but the trunks and their structure. I cannot say I stopped with it, but it’s certainly on hold now because it’s not so easy to find what I seek in that subject. And to know what I’m looking for. Anyway, I think one needs high resolution for this subject. I used a 4x5” camera or Delta 100 in an M4 with the very sharp Summicron 28.

To me, rather - the silence of families (or still, may I suggest, in these demanding times of corona when family members are taken away like the picture shows, put another way, the silence in families).
