Paulus Posted February 23, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 23, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I must compliment Will van Manen & Cathy Kuiper for a time. I sent in my 24mm lens because it was damaged at the back ( lensprotector was scratched severely ) . They fixed it giving a CLA to my lens in the proces doing this for a staggering low price of € 157,- faires & taxes included! I sent it the first of Februari and it will be back tomorrow! That's fast. I really would like to see this kind of service from Leica.

Peter H Posted February 23, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 23, 2016 I've seen the term "CLA" so often that, like when you're deep into a conversation with someone you've been introduced to but whose name you've now forgotten, it becomes embarrassing to ask... but what does CLA stand for? stunsworth Posted February 23, 2016 Share #3 Posted February 23, 2016 ...what does CLA stand for? Clean, Lube, Adjust So clean the parts, add lubrication where necessary, and adjust the lens/camera so that it's operating optimally.

Thank you. I'd always assumed it was something like "Careful Loving Attention". I was close.
