thighslapper Posted February 6, 2016 Share #2 Posted February 6, 2016 Af does not work in the dark Switch to Manual focus The LCD read-out on the top of the camera shows you the focus point and DOF near and far points ..... just use that to set focus ..... it is a digital version of what you would have on a manual lens. Front: how many meters in front of the focus plane Focus: the position of the focus plane Back: how many meters in back of the focus plane Set the focus so that both focus and back are at infinity, and the front indicator is at the maximum amount it is possible to achieve.
