Berlinman Posted January 27, 2016 Share #1 Â Posted January 27, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I want to add a 1.0-Nocti to my 50Apo to use it with my M6 and M240. My main interest is the special rendering. Most of my lenses are 6-bit coded, but I'm not shure weather the coding or the usage if the in-camera profiles is destroing a bit of the Nocti-Look. I have scanned for this in the older post and found only a little on tjis. Hop the point helps also other users. Would be nich to hear Your opinions, if possible also on lens profiles in PO (LR...). Advertisement Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Hi Berlinman, Take a look here Noctilux 1.0/50 6-bit/lens profiles yes or no. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gpwhite Posted January 28, 2016 Share #2 Â Posted January 28, 2016 I have used the 50/1 profile on my M 262 (not M 246 yet) and found all of the qualities intact save the substantial vignetting that I see on my M7. Â The 50/1 with its profile on an SL is really remarkable. There is no film grain of course, but the color delicacy must be what Mr. Mandler had in mind all along, IMHO. Herr Barnack Posted January 28, 2016 Share #3  Posted January 28, 2016 My f/1.0 Noctilux retains its unique rendering when used with my M-P. The in camera profile does not negate the exposure vignetting that the lens produces.
Berlinman Posted January 31, 2016 Author Share #4 Â Posted January 31, 2016 Thanks for the help. My Nocti will arrive next week (last version without coding).
