Koudelka's S Lens

I've seen a reference to Koudelka using the "Fuji 617/105" which implies the 105mm lens on that format. The original Fuji version had a fixed 105mm, so that is the most common combination.

And a reference to his S2 lens "matching" his film lens, which would then imply the 30mm (equivalent on 6x17 = ~113mm).

The Leica-S 24 would work out as ~90mm-equivalent - which is an optional lens for later models of the Fuji 6x17.

So it could be either, although odds favor the 30mm.

The problem, of course, is that Koudelka is an artist and not a gear-head, so he doesn't talk much about his gear in detail.

I could buy excellent musical instruments or I could buy absolutely outstanding musical recordings. That's how far buying could have helped me.
