jmahto Posted December 23, 2015 Share #5 Posted December 23, 2015 It's wrong question. The correct question is whether next Epson EVF will feature an internal M? I am tired of carrying EVF separately. Sometime I step out only with EVF and realize later than I don't have the camera with me. Next EVF should solve this usability issue. I have missed more shots due to this than wake up time (mine not the camera's).
Rick Posted December 24, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted December 24, 2015 jmahto - I have done the same, only to realize as I bring the EVF to my eye I see no image, nothing, just the lack of something! In the next version I suggest the EVF utilizes optical technology like my glorious Leica Universal Finder. I have never been able move it up to my eye fast enough to catch it turned off. It is amazing technology! Rick p.s. I've often wondered if there is an image in the Universal Finder when I'm not looking through it? Say, when it is in my pocket. Same with the refrigerator light? One of those great unanswerable questions, like - why is navel fluff always blue, even when your shirts aren't? Or - how do girls always know when you're looking at them, even when they're facing the other way?

pico Posted December 24, 2015 Share #12 Posted December 24, 2015 In the next version I suggest the EVF utilizes optical technology like my glorious Leica Universal Finder. I have never been able move it up to my eye fast enough to catch it turned off. It is amazing technology! Well, youngster, you have a lot to learn. If you close your eye and bring the optical finder to view, you will see nothing, but worse - when you bring it up again with an open eye you will see the passed image you missed. This accounts for why many do not understand the decisive moment. Ya know who they are, they types who make it all up in Photo Shop. p.s. I've often wondered if there is an image in the Universal Finder when I'm not looking through it? Say, when it is in my pocket. Same with the refrigerator light? Yes, but it is an issue only when there was a hole in you pocket. Refrigerator light? No such thing. When you open the fridge, the world around darkens. Happy Holidays, ya olde grump! pico Posted December 24, 2015 Share #13 Posted December 24, 2015 [...] how do girls always know when you're looking at them, even when they're facing the other way? Hind sight.
