Guest )-( Posted November 27, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 27, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) A few shots from Circular Quay, Sydney I'm not sure what purpose the glass screens in the hedge boxes play, I just liked how they partly framed the passer-by. I waited for someone to enter the shot and do something different, rather than take 'their' Opera House shot, then this couple came past and just had a joyful hug and 'moment' together (and with me ) I was hoping for some kind of play on Orlando itself, but then someone lay down on the bench instead. Cropped to a square as the rest of the frame drew away from the legs. The other photographer wasn't budging unfortunately, in retrospect I wish I'd got closer to eliminate them from the frame. Thanks for looking.

EoinC Posted November 29, 2015 Share #4 Posted November 29, 2015 Very nice. I like the 3rd best. Likewise - You discover more (such as the legs) as you look longer.
Toshack10 Posted November 29, 2015 Share #5 Posted November 29, 2015 Fascinating perspective as the area is always so colourful - blues and whites in particular - that seeing them so well captured in monochrome makes the details stand out well beyond "ooh look, the opera house" Really love the third one with the reflected streetlamp
