dritz Posted November 22, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Prior to an event shoot last evening, I set up my S-E with a PC sync cord to a Quantum flash unit. Worked great... as expected. I went to the event and it wouldn't trigger the flash. I hook up the sync to M7 via the PC cord... works great. Move cord back to S-E and doesn't work. So, it's not the cord. It's not the shutter speed. I tried M, P, A, and T modes and flash mode. Nope. Upon closer inspection it seem there is some wiggle in the camera's PC connector itself. Really? Is the S-E connector more fragile than on the M7? Is there an alternative I can use, perhaps a LEMO-based sync cord? Thanks. Dean

jip Posted November 22, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 22, 2015 Yes get a LEMO flash cord, with the S-E it's not included with the normal S006 it's included (like the LEMO-USB cable). You can buy it at your Leica dealer.

You can stick in a plug and rotate the socket 360 degrees. And there you have it!
