elmarman Posted November 22, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not used my Leica gear for a long while -- I had some 2007 dated Fuji Acros loaded and I went around my town to see what I could get and saw this Gent on his mobile phone -- I used 1/1000th at f2.8 to try to put backgound out of focus as much as possible . I processed the film in home=made ID 11 formula 1+1. 1986 M6 Welcome, dear visitor! XVarior Posted November 23, 2015 Share #3 Posted November 23, 2015 Nice shadows and lines. No need to blur the background unless you're much closer to your subject. Glad you took your M6 to promenade:-) show us more
elmarman Posted November 23, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted November 23, 2015 Thanks for viewing -- the scanner is an old Epson 1650 flatbed with the strip light . It was given to me by a Camera Club member who has since died. It came with the Epson software which was not very good -- it was really designed for 35mm strips and mounted slides but we tried with a home-made cardboard mask to use it for 'medium format' and most of the time it would not 'find' the negative -- then I won FREE the Vuescan Pro from Ed Hamrick in USA and that finds the medium format negs or slides. I set it to output as 'TIFFS' then in PhotoShop 7 or the free FastStone Image Viewer I can 'adjust' if necessary and re-size for uploading to Forums. i have put another M6 photo on the 'Landscape' section titled 'S' Curve. It was only a short length of film had loaded -- will see if any others are worth showing. Regards --- Peter
