It is true that these hams are "naturally" highly colored, but I was myself surprised by the result. No "post-treatment" succeeded... I know of course about pimentão (as we say in Portugal) - and I "tasted" it once more no later than yesterday at an aperitive with friends - but the photographic "saturation" is surprizing.
