Frankly, I do not know! It is true that these hams are "naturally" highly colored, but I was myself surprised by the result. No "post-treatment" succeeded...

Last one is mine even though I'm not mad for mushrooms. Why the rest of the images have some HDR effect?

The reddish colour on the hams is due to the "pimentón", a kind of paprika they use both in Portugal and in Spain.

Thank you, François. I know of course about pimentão (as we say in Portugal) - and I "tasted" it once more no later than yesterday at an aperitive with friends - but the photographic "saturation" is surprizing.

In any case these are vivid, beautiful colours that trasnport the viewer to the dear Peninsula Iberica!
