Hmm, you are correct then something must be wrong with my setup, I see the proper lens, but the camera settings come up as Leica M not SL. SL doesn't appear in the Lens settings, but likely thats correct.  Probably just my misunderstanding of the info.

No digital corrections for DNGs created with M lenses on the SL are applied by default in LR when these are opened even though it says that the integrated lens profile is applied. You have to enable profile corrections for the images to change and I'm not even sure if these are Leica corrections that are then applied by LR as it finds the lens profile. This is different for SL DNGs created with native SL lenses. See also the second comment from the top by Jaap here:

This not correct. Using firmware 2.1 the SL does embed lens profiles for some of the M lenses (e.g. 28 & 35 & 50 'lux). LR shows this with the "Built-in Lens Profile applied" notice in the Profile panel. It is not clear whether the embedded profile is the same as the profile that you can apply manually, but if you do apply the M lens profile manually for an SL DNG that already has an embedded profile you are going to over correct.
