Advertisement Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Hi EoinC, Take a look here Marching to a different tune . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted November 15, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 15, 2015 Some of them almost look like they are dancing.
EoinC Posted November 15, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted November 15, 2015 They were all at 1/60s, Stuart, and not panned, which is why some of them have one sharp foot, and everything else motion-blurred. It was like a dance, made more so by the number of people wearing earphones and looking at their handphones. In the last one, the elderly gentleman is not walking with the woman beside him (as it appears in this shot) - He's actually annoyed about the impending collision, and gave her a very scathing look, which she didn't notice. Standing there with a camera, a Security guard came and asked to review my photo's. At the same time, others were standing taking smart phone video's without anyone noticing. The M is unobtrusive, but the smart phone is invisible.
MT0227 Posted November 15, 2015 Share #4 Posted November 15, 2015 I think the shot with the little girl is awesome. Definitely looks like she is dancing to a different tune; nobody is even looking at her.
EoinC Posted November 15, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted November 15, 2015 Thanks, MT0227. She was the only one who was really "being here now". Everyone else was going to, or leaving from...
Iduna Posted November 17, 2015 Share #6 Posted November 17, 2015 Eoin, a very nice subtle series. You need a moment to take in the groove. The "girl" picture and the picture with the "irritated" man are working best to my taste. Security Guards being attentive is not wrong ( that is their job).. usually they are friendly I suppose.
