wlaidlaw Posted November 12, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 12, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was reading about a Kickstarter project to make a new super-duper circular polarising filter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/breakthrough/x3-circular-polarizer/ but my experience on Kickstarter has to date been dire and I have never yet received any end product which I invested in. I am therefore not sending any good money after bad until at least my TextBlade iPad Keyboard arrives. The others I have written off. During my stays in sunnier climes, I use a polariser during daylight hours a lot, so I definitely would need an 82mm for the 24-90 VE. I spotted that Peter Walnes, who will be well known to many as a seller of classic Leica equipment, is selling new/old stock 82mm Rodenstock circular polarisers for just £43 incl. P&P, which is about a quarter of what a B+W costs. He still has two left and trades under the name arri888 on Fleabay, if anyone is interested. Wilson Welcome, dear visitor!
