geesbert Posted November 8, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have the Q now for a few months and think it is the best mirrorles camera to date. There are a few things though that drive me crazy! Leica Qs instant review implementation is wrong in my opinion: Instant review shouldn't have the same functionality as playback. I have my instant review set to two seconds. Whenever I realise that my exposure is off and start turning the wheel, I shuttle through my images, which is highly annoying and makes me miss the moment. The way it should be is that whenever the operator uses one of the controls while in instant review it should switch back instantly to capture mode. Any playback operations can be done in playback mode. No problem to solve this with FW. What do you think? Only my problem?
Advertisement Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Hi geesbert, Take a look here instant review implementation. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lucerne Posted November 8, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 8, 2015 If you are saying that you don't want instant review, then why not turn it off? The exposure wheel is then available, but how will you know what exposure adjustment you need? Or do you want to isolate instant review from the operation of the wheel, yet keeping the last image on the screen while you view and adjust the exposure compensation on the scale. That might make sense.
