This may be relevant to you if you have an earlier production unit of this lens: The hood of some of the earlier production 1.4/35 Summilux ASPH FLEs did not fit over any 46mm filters except for Leica 46mm filters as ALL other filters are a fraction of a millimetre wider than the lens barrel which was enough to prevent the hood from fitting over them.
