I picked up an L1 with the 14-50mm Leica kit lens recently and have been pretty impressed with the results. All shots are with dynamic color setting with no sharpening or levels. I'm used to the vibrant colors from Leica so dynamic color setting is cthe closest I can think of. I also bought an R adapter to 4/3rds from Photodiox to try out my R lenses and the results are pretty good as well. The L1 or Digulux 3 will give you focus confirmation with all manual lenses be it Nikon , Olympus or Leica R. I'm keeping all my R lenses for the new R10 or D1 from Leica !

Very nice pictures!

I have to ask if you know if all (single, double cams, R Leicaflex) lenses all work with the DigiLux3/L1?

Also has anyone discussed or evaluated the quality of the various adaptors available?.

Thanks

B.

Brian - Any R lens 1,2 or 3 cam will work with the 4/3rds adapter. I've been using the Photodiox adapter with the L1/Digilux 3 confirm focus feature for all my R lenses. The lenses are being used in stopped down method with matrix setting and auto shutter speeds on the body.
