Steve Ricoh Posted October 27, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted October 27, 2015 Had to wait a while for the correct number to turn up; plenty of 1's and 2's, then bingo!
XVarior Posted October 27, 2015 Share #4 Posted October 27, 2015 this is fantastic. had only the person to the right been "not there"
Steve Ricoh Posted October 27, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted October 27, 2015 this is fantastic. had only the person to the right been "not there" I have other shots with fewer people. Do you think two or possibly one would look better. I thought 3 reflected the three in the 'painting/sketch', or am I reading the painting incorrectly? XVarior Posted October 27, 2015 Share #6 Posted October 27, 2015 this is fantastic. had only the person to the right been "not there" I have other shots with fewer people. Do you think two or possibly one would look better. I thought 3 reflected the three in the 'painting/sketch', or am I reading the painting incorrectly? It's not the number, 2 or 3, that bothers but the fact that the person to the right looks not engaged with the painting as the other 2. Kind of distract a bit but on the other hand, 3 persons make a nice framing to the painting! Interesting capture no matter what :-)
Steve Ricoh Posted October 27, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted October 27, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for the clarification. Yes the lady on the right appears to be slightly disconnected, possibly less interested in the painting. It was a balancing act to determine when to press the shutter release, the painting had to be in view. If only I could orchistrate strangers without things becomming staged
